A Private Chapter | Three Creations
Not every collection is created in a distant location.
Some of the most personal moments are created at home.
The Fox Residence represents a quieter chapter in my creative journey — a space that carries familiarity, comfort, and a sense of grounding. While many of my collections are filmed in carefully selected locations, this residence allowed me to explore creation in an environment that is part of my everyday life.
Within these walls, I curated three carefully crafted visual pieces, each one reflecting the intimacy and authenticity that only a personal space can offer.
The Space
The Fox Residence is not a stage or a set.
It is a lived-in environment where creativity can unfold naturally without the pressure of unfamiliar surroundings. The calm atmosphere of the home allowed each scene to feel effortless, shaped by natural movement rather than planned choreography.
In many ways, the simplicity of the space became its greatest strength.
The Creations
From this residence came three individual creations, each capturing a quiet moment of presence.
Without the grandeur of a large location or the architecture of a luxury property, the focus shifted entirely to the subtle details of the moment — posture, movement, expression, and stillness.
These pieces feel almost like a personal conversation with the viewer.
A slower, more intimate perspective within the McKenzie Fox visual archive.
A Personal Layer in the Archive
Every location I choose contributes something different to my growing collection of work.
Some spaces bring cinematic views.
Others bring architectural beauty.
The Fox Residence brings something more personal — a glimpse into the quieter side of creation.
These three pieces form a small but meaningful chapter in the archive, reminding both myself and the viewer that creativity does not always require grandeur.
Sometimes, the most authentic moments are created exactly where we are.
