The First Collection | Fairlands

Every creation has an origin.

For my work as McKenzie Fox, that origin became The Fox Foundry — the very first location where my vision of curated visual storytelling began to take form.

Tucked away in Fairlands, this private residence offered something I look for when selecting a creative space: quiet elegance, natural light, and an atmosphere that allows presence to unfold naturally on camera.

This was never about simply recording videos. It was about crafting a collection.

The Fox Foundry became the birthplace of my first 10 carefully curated visual pieces — each one designed to capture a moment of stillness, movement, and intimacy with the viewer.

The Space

The residence carried a sense of calm sophistication. Soft interiors, warm textures, and a private gym created a setting where both strength and softness could coexist.

Natural light played across the rooms throughout the day, allowing every scene to feel organic rather than staged.

It was the perfect environment for what I was building: luxury storytelling through presence, movement, and atmosphere.

The Collection

Within this location, I created ten individual videos, each filmed slowly and intentionally.

Rather than traditional content, these pieces were designed as moments the viewer steps into.

You are not simply watching a video. You are invited to share the room.

The camera lingers. Movement is deliberate. Silence becomes part of the experience.

Each piece contributes to the larger narrative of the collection — forming a cohesive body of work that reflects the early architecture of the McKenzie Fox visual library.

Why I Call It “The Foundry”

A foundry is where something is forged into existence.

This location represents the place where my approach to creating began to solidify — where the foundations of my cinematic library, collections, and future location series were first shaped.

The Fox Foundry is therefore more than a filming location.

It is the beginning of the archive.

The Fox Foundry collection is preserved as a complete series of ten curated videos, belonging to the earliest chapter of my work.
