A Brief Stay | Two Creations
Not every location allows the luxury of time.
Some locations become meaningful for a different reason — not for the number of creations made there, but for the moment they represent within the journey.
The Fox Penthouse I, located in Melville, was one of those chapters.
With its striking staircase and expansive windows allowing natural light to pour into the space, the penthouse immediately offered the kind of architectural beauty that naturally draws my attention when selecting locations for filming.
However, this particular stay unfolded differently than most.
A Moment of Introduction
While I had originally planned to create more within the space, much of my time here was dedicated to something equally important — introducing myself and my work on Instagram.
This moment marked a step in opening the doors to the world I am building as McKenzie Fox.
Speaking directly to my audience, explaining the vision behind my creations, and sharing the beginning of this journey became a priority during my stay at the penthouse.
In many ways, the location became the backdrop for a personal introduction rather than a full production series.
The Two Creations
Despite the limited time available, I was still able to curate two elegant visual pieces within the penthouse.
The architecture of the space — particularly the staircase and the natural light streaming through the large windows — created a beautiful setting for these moments.
Each piece captures the quiet atmosphere of the penthouse while maintaining the slower, intentional style that defines my work.
A Custom Creation
During my stay, I also took time to create a custom video for one of my long-standing supporters.
These private commissions are something I deeply appreciate within my work. They allow me to create something uniquely tailored for someone who has chosen to support my creative journey.
This custom piece became another meaningful part of my time within the penthouse.
A Transitional Chapter
While The Fox Penthouse I may only hold two creations within the archive, it represents an important transition in my story.
It was here that I took time to step forward, introduce myself to a wider audience, and connect more directly with those who follow my work.
Sometimes a location becomes memorable not for the number of creations it holds — but for the moment it represents in the evolution of the journey.
And the Fox Penthouse I will always remain one of those chapters.
