Locations of Creation
The McKenzie Fox Archive
Every creation begins with a place.
Throughout my journey as McKenzie Fox, I have carefully selected locations that allow creativity to unfold naturally. From penthouses and private homes to guesthouses and curated studios, each space becomes part of the story behind the work.
These locations are never chosen at random.
Light, atmosphere, architecture, and energy all influence the moments that are created within them. Some spaces offer sweeping views across the city, while others provide quiet interiors where stillness becomes part of the experience.
Together, these environments form what I call The McKenzie Fox Archive — a growing collection of locations where curated visual pieces have been filmed and preserved as part of my creative journey.
Each chapter represents not just a place, but a moment in time.
The First Chapters of Creation
The Fox Foundry — Fairlands
The very beginning of the archive.Within this private residence, ten carefully curated creations were filmed, marking the first chapter of the McKenzie Fox visual journey.
Hurlingham Library House
A residence defined by expansive windows and a remarkable private library. Twelve creations were curated here, shaped by light, stillness, and the quiet presence of books.
Ivory Indulgence — Private House
A home of elegant ivory interiors, private gym, and sauna. With more time to explore the space, seventeen creations were carefully filmed throughout the residence.
The Fox Residence
A personal chapter filmed within my own surroundings. Three creations were curated here, offering a quieter and more intimate perspective within the archive.
The Fox Culinary Studio — Parkview
A warm wooden kitchen space where a photoshoot took place with photographer Lux Lucet. This location also includes behind-the-scenes moments, my welcome video, and the seasonal piece Elf Kissed Noël.
The Fox Penthouse I — Melville
A penthouse defined by its staircase and large windows. Two creations were filmed here while much of the time was spent introducing my work on Instagram and creating a custom video for a dedicated supporter.
The Fox Penthouse II
One of the most scenic locations within the archive. With breathtaking views and expansive windows, this penthouse allowed me to slow down and curate twenty carefully crafted visual pieces.
The Fox Guesthouse Residence — Sandton
A guesthouse I returned to twice in order to fully explore the environment. Across both visits, eighteen creations were filmed throughout the garden, living spaces, and bedroom.
A Living Archive
This archive continues to grow as new locations are discovered and new chapters are created.
Each residence, penthouse, and studio becomes part of a larger story — a journey shaped by atmosphere, time, and creative exploration.
For those who follow my work closely, these locations offer a glimpse into the environments where each creation begins.
And every new space holds the possibility for the next chapter in the evolving McKenzie Fox Archive.
A Note of Gratitude
None of these creations would exist without the support of those who choose to collect and appreciate my work.
Every location, every carefully selected space, and every curated moment has been made possible through the encouragement of the collectors who believe in the vision I am building.
Your support allows me to continue exploring new environments, crafting new visual chapters, and preserving each creation as part of the growing McKenzie Fox Archive.
For that, I am deeply grateful.
This journey of creation is not one I walk alone.
It is shared with those who see the beauty in these moments and choose to make them part of their own private collections.
Thank you for being part of this evolving story.
